Long time to see! I need to get my blog posts up a little faster than things are going right now, that’s for sure. One thing I have definitely learned while blogging these past few months, it’s harder getting those creative ideas on the screen and out of your head!
On to todays blog post, I have a review on a Fandom of the Month Box I received during the month of November. This one is a special box, since it is their one year anniversary. They’ve only been doing this for a year and it is exploding, just check out their instagram account! I wish I could subscribe to more boxes, but December will be my last box for a while. I was originally going to stop after the anniversary box, but when I saw the clue for December, I could not stay away. I would have regretted it completely!
Here’s all the goodies that came in the pretty packaged box this month. I love the mix of fandoms, I’m so glad I got this box. It has a piece from Doctor Who, Harry Potter, Hunger Games, LOST, and cute dragon earrings.
I almost feel like this bookmark is telling me something. I haven’t read the Harry Potter books. I started, but I lost interest since it was before I actually enjoyed reading. I’ve been thinking about reading them since I already know the series is amazing, and I think I need an epic read. Also, the bookmark is just so gorgeous and needs a Harry Potter book.
The perfect purse accessory. I can’t wait to get a purse that would look really good with it. I like the worn, faded gold colour is gives that makes it look a little more rustic, very Hunger Games. I would be afraid to put it with my keys since it might break with constant use and in contact with the keys being thrown around. This is definitely my second favorite piece in the box.
These earrings are so cute! When I pulled them out I wasn’t sure what fandom they could be from, but honestly, they are dragons, and any Game of Thrones fan would be happy. The people that make these boxes actually said on their instragram account that they are an homage to the book series Eragon, as the Game of Thrones fandom.
This is probably my favorite piece to come out of all the boxes they have ever made. I just might put it on a long chain. I just prefer long necklaces to short ones. LOST was a big fandom for me when it was on the air. I miss LOST sometimes, the theories, the mythology, the DHARMA shark, Jacob and the smoke monster. I even have the special complete series box, with the backgammon rocks and a few other little toys. One of the biggest moments of the show was when Charlie sacrificed himself to save everyone. I had to go to back and watch this scene. Goosebumps.
What fandoms would you like to see them do in the future?
Thank you for reading!
